Updated: Feb 18

We are absolutely thrilled to share ‘The High Priestess’ first debut single ‘Hole’ which is now available on all good streaming platforms.

It’s been an absolute pleasure supporting High Priestess on this journey. We are looking forward to watching the growth of their music career, we will remain their biggest fans!

The 'Stranded Cat' record label project is the first of its kind in Dumfries and Galloway launched by the Young Creatives in March 2023 with funding support from Holywood Trust and Creative Scotland.

Following the success of this innovative project we are continuing its success with a second year and supporting a further 12 young musicians from the region, through the journey of starting out in the music industry, equipping them with the skills and experience needed to establish themselves and stand out from the crowd, and supporting them to release and perform their own music.

The ‘Stranded Cat’ Record label project is guiding young musicians through every step of the journey: from writing and pre-production, to recording, mixing, mastering, and distribution.

We're also connecting them with other industry professionals who will provide invaluable support, ensuring their work reaches new heights.

We are currently working and supporting another two acts - Ella Campbell and Benji on their debut tracks, providing song writing and pre-production support before they hit Circa 16 studio in a few weeks to record their tracks. A further 13 young musicians will be supported through the project including RHELM and 'Alexander and the Greeks.' The final spot on the project will be awarded to a solo act at the 'Soundwaves Music battle' on the 13th April.

Exciting Stuff!

If you a solo musician or group aged 15 - 25 years old and would like you get involved in this amazing project, contact Cat at
